Norway

We've just returned from Norway, only to watch these mass killings play themselves out on our screens. My dad says that if you consider Norway's population, these killings are worse than 9.11. but then, I don't think we can ever make a hierarchy of tragedy - as though one unacceptable disaster is worse or better than any other. But I guess we all want a way to emphasize how very sorry we are. So that is what we continue to do. We repeat, over and over again, just how badly we feel about the killings, then perhaps we will make be able to adequately mark how horrible this event was.
