Full Moon Day

It is the full moon today and the beginning of Buddhist lent. I am supposed to be constructing 600 words on Burmese Fast Food... instead I am daydreaming poetry and distracting myself with blog entries.

Yesterday I handed over $800 and a deal was struck for a new apartment. Next week I move downtown. In the meantime my week is full of national parks, pagodas before breakfast and a friend singing Burmese songs in the monsoon rains.
